Muttathe Mulla

The scheme involves the disbursement of loans at a lower rate of interest to rural households. The scheme was launched to prevent people from falling prey to the blade mafia and micro-finance companies. The bank had made a strategy that Rs 10 lacks were given to each NHGs, and the NHGs may lend loans to each person. Under the Muttathe Mulla Loan Scheme, each person would be disbursed a loan amount that may vary between INR 1,000 and INR 25,000. The bank follows a weekly repayment system.
